Bevor wir 3 (Laura, Marilena und ich) uns dazu entschlossen haben, Plastik zu fasten, hab ich auch schon ziemlich bewusst konsumiert. Aber mir war nicht bewusst, wie viel Plastik- bzw. Verpackungsmüll ich konsumiere und produziere. Umso spannender war es dann, als die Fastenzeit begann und ich gar nicht so recht darauf vorbereitet war. Ich dachte irgendwie, dass es ganz einfach sein wird, Plastik zu umgehen, aber bereits im Badezimmer fängt es an: Zahnpasta, Schampoo und Deo - alles ist in Plastik verpackt und durfte dann ja ab 14.02. nicht mehr genutzt werden. So beschloss ich also, zu googlen und mir wurde schnell klar - das kann man auch alles selbst machen! Und da ich eh unheimlich gern Dinge selbst herstelle, war der Plan geschmiedet und Laura und ich machten uns auf den Weg zu Wunderbar Unverpackt, um die Zutaten einzukaufen.
Die Deocreme besteht grundsätzlich aus nur 3 Zutaten:
- Kokosöl
- Natron
- Puddingpulver (oder Kartoffelstärke)
wenn man mag, kann man auch noch ätherische Öle mit dazu geben
Die Zutaten muss man dann nur im Verhältnis 2:1:1 zusammenmischen, bis eine cremige Konsistenz entsteht. Kleiner Tipp: Wenn das Kokosöl zu fest ist, kann man es auch vorher kurz erwärmen, damit es etwas flüssiger wird. Und wie bereits geschrieben, kann man bei Bedarf noch etwas ätherisches Öl dazu geben. Ich liebe den Geruch von Kokosöl, habe aber trotzdem noch 2 Tropfen Vanilleduft dazu gegeben und bin einfach hin und weg von diesem Geruch. Das Ganze schmiert man sich dann einfach ganz lässig unter die Achseln und riecht wieder frisch!
Ich finde es persönlich so klasse, dass man hier alle Gerüche selbst erstellen und einfach ein bisschen herum probieren kann. Schon seit längerem nutze ich nicht mehr diese typischen „Teenie-Deos“, die meilenweit nach Chemie-Vanille, Melone oder was auch immer riechen. Aber diese klassischen nach nichts riechenden Deos fand ich auch irgendwie langweilig. Mit meiner selbstgemachten Deocreme bin ich super zufrieden und ich werde wahrscheinlich noch viele weitere davon machen, wenn das erste Glas leer ist!
Na, wen konnte ich inspirieren, auch mal selbst sein Deo herzustellen? Wie gesagt, es geht super schnell und macht Spaß! Also versucht es doch mal!

Ich finde eure Challenge Klasse1 Ein solches Deo habe ich auch schon selbst gemacht, war dann aber im Sommer wo es drauf an kam gar nicht zu frieden, vielleicht sollte ich dein Rezept ausprobieren.

Ich finde das Thema Plastikfrei sehr interessant und wichtig! Ich bin aber noch nicht bei der Selbstherstellung von Produkten angekommen. Ich achte im Moment sehr beim Lebensmitteleinkauf darauf, so wenig in plastik verpacktes Obst & Gemüse zu kaufen.

Wow! Das ist ja super interessant! Ich habe noch nie darüber nachgedacht ein Deo selbst zu mischen - ich hätte auch nicht gedacht, dass das so einfach ist!
Plastikfrei zu leben stelle ich mir unheimlich schwer vor, aber ich finde es super, dass ihr es probiert. Heutzutage ist ja leider alles fünfmal eingepackt. Ich wusste auch gar nicht, dass man Deocreme selber herstellen kann, sehr cool. :)

Ich habe auch mal eine Zeit lang Deocreme selbst hergestellt und war sehr zufrieden damit. Die Anleitung dazu hatte ich sogar vor fünf Jahren mal auf meinem Blog geteilt. Irgendwann wurde es mir aber doch etwas zu umständlich auf Dauer.

Ich glaube, ich mache mir das trotzdem noch nach. Auch, wenn ich eigentlich mit meinem Deo Roll On total zufrieden bin. Man sollte immer offen für neues sein. :D

Tatsächlich habe ich erst vor ein paar Tagen mein erstes eigene Deo hergestellt und habe auch die gleichen Zutaten verwenden (einziger Unterschied: Maisstärke anstatt Puddingpulver/Kartoffelstärke) und es hat so super geklappt. Kann es jedem empfehlen mal zu versuchen! :)
